Terms of Use
The terms that apply to this website and our matching service.
These Terms of Use govern your use of the course.contact website and matching service (the "Service"), operated by Course Contact ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. What we are — and aren't
We are a course-matching and referral service. We are not a registered training organisation, college or education provider. We do not deliver training, issue qualifications, assess students or process enrolments. All courses are delivered by independent third-party providers, and any enrolment you make is a contract directly between you and that provider.
2. Free for learners; commercial relationships with providers
The Service is free for learners. Training providers pay us fees for qualified enquiries or referrals. These commercial relationships do not change the price you pay a provider. We aim to match on fit; we only ever match within our provider network, which is not a complete list of every provider in Australia.
3. No guarantee of outcomes
We can't and don't guarantee that a course will be available, that you'll be eligible (including for any government funding or subsidy), that you'll be accepted, or that study will lead to any particular job, licence or outcome. Course details, prices, dates and funding rules belong to the providers and can change — always confirm the specifics with the provider before enrolling.
4. Information on this site is general
Content on this site — including study-area descriptions, course levels and example qualifications — is general information, not advice for your specific circumstances, and not an offer by any provider. Statistics shown are indicative of our network and activity.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information in your enquiry, to have authority to share any details you submit about another person (for example, as a parent, guardian or employer), and not to misuse the Service — including submitting spam, unlawful content or attempting to interfere with the site's operation.
6. Providers' responsibilities
Providers in our network are responsible for their own accreditation, marketing claims, course delivery, enrolment processes and compliance. While we check registration and accreditation at onboarding, we are not responsible for a provider's conduct or services. Issues with a course you've enrolled in should be raised with the provider first; we'll help where we reasonably can.
7. Intellectual property
The content, design, code and branding of this site are owned by us or our licensors. You may view and share links to the site, but you may not copy, reproduce or reuse its content without permission. Provider and qualification names belong to their respective owners.
8. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, including decisions you make based on matches or information provided.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service means you accept the current version.
